ALVO Medical teams took part in Poland Business Run 2022

Two ALVO Medical teams took part in the Poland Business Run 2022, the 11th edition of the charity relay run, which took place on Sunday 4 September. The Poland Business Run is 5×4 km relay race. In the virtual formula, representatives of companies and corporations ran their kilometres on a self-selected route, and recorded and transmitted their results using a smartphone application. This year, more than 1,500 companies and 32,000 participants took part in the run. Through their participation in the race, companies will help 100 people from all over Poland who are struggling with a mobility disability or have undergone a mastectomy. Funding will be provided for prosthetic limbs, active and sports wheelchairs, rehabilitation holidays and psychological consultations.

The mission of the Poland Business Run Foundation is to provide comprehensive and professional assistance to people with locomotor disabilities, to help them become active and to reduce social barriers, as well as to help those at risk of amputation.
