X-ray shielding

Various types of X-ray shielding that minimise exposure to scatter radiation emitted from the C-arm are an important part of operating room equipment.

Characteristics:

• Easy mounting at both sides of the table
• Lightweight, durable structure supporting a flexible lead curtain (0.5 mm lead equivalent).
• It is equipped with a pivotal arm with a single friction pivot that can swivel outwards to form a wing, which can be as much as 63 cm long (depending on the shield model).
• Self-adjusting friction pivot ensures no unwanted curtain movement, even when the table is tilted.
